The build log.

spinyield, as it happened. Every release since the first commit, newest first — what shipped, what changed, and what it means for the people earning. No marketing gloss; this page is written from the commit history.

[2026-07-13] client silent self-update armed — verify · swap · restart

[2026-07-13] serving rotation=30s pacing=even floor=$0.50cpm

  1. july 2026

    clientlatest

    The client now updates itself

Install once, never think about it again. The daemon quietly fetches each new release from a signed manifest, verifies it, swaps the binary atomically, and restarts itself — no sudo, no reinstall, no interruption to your spinner.

  2. earnings

    Four times the rotation

A fresh sponsored line every 30 seconds instead of 120, a unique ad per terminal, and campaigns served with true even pacing. A $0.50 CPM bid floor and a per-device session limiter keep the market honest while the ceiling on what you can earn goes up.

  3. web

    Privacy, done properly

spinyield.com now asks before it measures. A GDPR consent banner gates analytics — decline it and nothing loads. The pitch stays the same; the tracking got politer.

  4. client

    0.2.0 — beyond Claude Code

The Cursor Terminal adapter lands in spinyield 0.2.0: the compatibility matrix gets its second live cell. Same daemon, new surface — the spinner follows you across agents.

  5. surfaces

    New places to earn

A companion VS Code extension mirrors the daemon into a status-bar pill, a Cursor Agent CLI adapter takes shape, and the full brand × surface compatibility matrix goes public on the homepage — what works today, what's coming next.

  6. payouts

    Cash out at $10

Solo developers get Stripe Connect cash-out — the same rail organizations use, now per account — and the minimum drops from $25 to $10. The homepage gains a live ads-served odometer, and leaderboard ads now click through with real advertiser logos.

  7. client

    One command, you're in

spinyield 0.1.0 hits npm. One line in your terminal installs the client, walks the setup wizard, and starts the spinner earning. Uninstalling is one command too — we count on you not wanting to.

  8. orgs

    Teams join the pool

Organizations go live: teammates join by company domain with explicit seat consent, earnings pool with per-seat attribution, and admins get contribution breakdowns. Owners can delete an org — pooled earnings are refunded to the members, not the house.

  9. security

    The fraud sweep

An account-level scorer now sweeps every account every 15 minutes — signup networks, collusion fingerprints, burst patterns — with human review in the admin console before anything is enforced. Blocked accounts serve nothing and earn nothing.

  10. market

    Real money, real market

Stripe flips to live mode and the bid market drops every synthetic row — what you see on /market is the actual auction, refreshed from hourly snapshots. Advertisers get in-console support chat with a staffed inbox, and the site copy stops saying “coming soon.”

  11. dashboard

    A ledger with a story

The developer dashboard gains a scrolling activity ledger — every impression, click, and credit as it happens, with a full deep-dive report behind it. The homepage picks up a live ticker showing real campaigns as they serve.

    client

    The setup wizard

spinyield setup walks you through six colorized steps, detects an existing kickbacks install, and offers a clean migration — pause it, restore it, or replace it. spinyield preview renders a demo ad so you know exactly what you signed up for.

  13. client

    A daemon is born

The thin client takes shape: a single-instance daemon with a watchdog-supervised loop, fail-safe rendering that can never break your spinner, and sign-in, doctor, and uninstall commands. The landing page is rebuilt with light and dark themes the same week.

  14. genesis

    First commit

A frozen API contract, the money ledger, six services, and the cloud infrastructure land in a single day — 124 tests green, the full money loop working against real infra by nightfall. spinyield.com goes live the next morning.

Everything above ships to the same one-line install. Put the spinner to work and it keeps itself current from here on out.
